I moved house yesterday, and after two whole days of packing, unpacking, cleaning, lifting heavy furniture, driving backwards and forwards all over the place, I am finally relaxing in the bathtub with candles and some raspberry bath fizz thing from Lush. I still have so many boxes to unpack, but I’ve just shoved them all in the spare room.
My arms feel like I’ve done about 10 boxing sessions in a row, my thighs are killing me after walking up and down the stairs because my apartment is on the second floor, and I am covered in bruises from tripping over boxes or smashing them into my shins by accident.
So glad to finally relax…

My boy came and picked me up after work today. I was smiling like a goober when I went to meet him. Is it lame that 3.5 years later he still makes me nervous sometimes?
Had the best BBQ for dinner, now I’m chilling on the couch in a towel watching the Brownlow.
Pyro comes down in like two weeks. Gonna so see The Lion King in 3D. Yay!
Also house hunting this weekend. My lease is up in a month, so yay to moving.
Life is so sweet right about now!

Can’t remember if I’ve posted this already or not, but it’s the design for a handbag I’m working on at the moment. It’s a birthday present I started for myself in July before I went to Sydney, but I still haven’t finished it.
It’s made of an ostrich embossed black leather, with a dark brown hair-on leather section down the front, a pastel pink lining and gold hardware, and a faux fur foxtail attachment.
The bag itself is pretty much done, I just need to finish the lining and attach the handles. Hopefully this weekend.

I ended up watching this.

I read the novel by Luke Davies I think 7 years ago now, so it’s hard to say if the movie did the book any justice. The movie was good all the same, and I got teary at the end, I just think the book was much more voyeuristic and maybe a bit more personal. Consisdering when I first read the book, I had never touched a drug besides weed, and now…well…I’m sure my opinion of such things has changed since then. I might read the book again soon actually.

My face is darkening compared to the rest of my body, to the point that my foundation is now lighter than my actual skin. I need to get myself to the solarium stat to get the whole body tanning started. I didn’t end up going that Thursday two weeks ago (long story, but it involved the police taking the plates off my car). So yeah, my car’s out of action at the moment, which means I can only go to a solarium I can walk/public transport my way to. I haven’t really had any spare time since then ‘cos I’ve pretty much always been at work.

I’m hitting up some stretch yoga tomorrow night after work, and Melbourne weather is looking awesome this week, so I’m gonna make a point of getting some sun on my lunch breaks.

I’ve got 7.15am starts on Thursday/Friday this week, but Saturday morning I’m thinking about another yoga class and hitting the solarium. Then I’ve gotta get the designs for the laptop bag commision done to show next Monday. I wish the weekend was here already!

A girl at work has asked me to custom make a bag for her to fit her 17” Mac Book. I took in some leather samples for her today and we’ve decided on the turquoise crodile leather, with gold hardware, a chain shoulder strap, and beige lining. I’m going to draw up some designs over the next few days so we can make sure everything is perfect before I start putting it together.

I’ve also got another commission lined up, but haven’t started designing anything for that one just yet.

I’m heading off to a small business workshop tomorrow morning, which will hopefully give me heaps of information and get my arse into gear with getting my label set up properly. It’s my only day off in two weeks and I’m spending it at a workshop, how sad haha!

This is how MII looks. On the right is the unmixed vial, with the MII peptide inside. Up close it looks like a piece of those packing noodles you get in packages sometimes. The middle vial is mixed with sterile water (it turns crystal clear) and the final picture is the label in case you’re curious. I’ve put them next to a bottle of nail polish so you can gauge the size of the vials. One vial will last me 16 injections, and I just started on my second vial last night. Pretty much all the side effects have gone and my appetite is well and truly back. I have some really dark freckles, especially on my face, but no one has mentioned me looking exceptionally freckly, which is good. I have been getting headaches for 5-10 minutes after injecting, but otherwise nada. I think I’m pretty much done with the loading phase.

I’m hitting the solarium tomorrow night, so Friday morning is when I’ll be seeing the real results. I’m make sure to take before and after photos. Depending on the colour I reach, I might go another week of daily injections and then hit the solarium again. I’m kind of scared that I’ll too dark straight away and it’ll look weird. Probably the only downside of this treatment is that you don’t know how your body is going to react to it until it actually does.

Oh well, fingers crossed!
